QFT. Sunday Night at 7.15 pm
Celebrate the 78th Academy Awards ceremony at the QFT with a special screening of
BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY¹s ,
winner of two 'Oscars¹ for its peerless musical score by Henry Mancini and starring our favourite lady Audrey
Hepburn.
Screening will be followed by refreshments (i.e. FREE food and Drink!) courtesy of Stella Artois and easy listening sounds featuring the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Doris Day, The Carpenters and more from DJ Terri Hooley.
The dress code for this event is Oscar Ceremony Glamour! Prizes for the most glamorous individual and couple!

New York Trip .... On the Town !
Following the success of our Savoy Ball trip to London.... We are thinking of planning a trip to
the Big apple, the birthplace of Swing dancing. Let us know if you are interested in coming along, ( non dancers
welcome). Do not apply if having the time of your life is not your scene. The more lead in time...the better, so let us
know. Possibilities include.. Big band Orchestras with cabaret and dancing, Supper club, Jazz in Grenwich Village, Broadway show, Art deco tour,
shopping. vintage gear, helicopter tour of NYc Skyline, Cocktails in the Rainbow room, China town , little Italy .etc. etc.
Let's Go for it !
